All our Senior Project Managers and Head of departments have an Engineer's degree. Part of our supervisory staff has engineers degree and other decades long experience in ship repair. All are regularly sent abroad to familiarize themselves with the latest technical and organizational developments.

All have at least a basic education (Dutch system) and most have followed one or more specialized courses either abroad or at the yards own training school.

The shipyard's training school gives initial courses, upgrading courses, supervisory and safety and environment awareness courses, and where many programs are offered under the guidance of relevant O.E.M.s.

Personnel of the CURACAO DRYDOCK COMPANY INC. are well known by its multi-lingual skills. The following languages are spoken on the shipyard: English, Spanish, Dutch, Papiamento, Portuguese, German, Polish and Russian.
